A private tour does not have to cost thousands of dollars.  By traveling with a small group you can go places the big buses can’t without the possible delays or compromises traveling with other people. You can choose your photo stops or save time by reducing stops. You will have 3 hours or more free time at the Grand Canyon or your guide can drive you to multiple viewpoints.  The private tour features experienced guides in 2017 or newer vehicles with more legroom than the bus.

You can stop at Welcome to Las Vegas Sign, Hoover Dam, Route 66 in Seligman and Williams Arizona, choose free time at the Grand Canyon or guided tour to viewpoints. Or remove the photo stops and get back to Las Vegas earlier.

A small group can generally avoid the places the buses go. In the busy months there can be 5 or more buses all stopping at the same place! The VIP tour generally goes to other places for comfort stops.

Without having to purchase an extra side tour you will have a hard time finding another tour that takes you to viewpoints other than Mather Point and Bright Angel Lodge (Yavapai Point is between Mather and Bright Angel). A private tour can cover those areas and show you other viewpoints in less busy places with better views of the Colorado River and more.
