  • Bus tours are done with a 25 year old company with large fleet of 45 vehicles and exceptional reputation. They are not brand new or constantly changing their product. You can find and overpay for the same exact tours marketed and sold elsewhere. Go shop for tours on the Las Vegas Strip or call a hotel and ask what they charge and see for yourself or after your tour ask your hotel how much a bus tour costs.

  • Other bus tours can add stops which all add up to time that can make your day longer or cut into your Grand Canyon time. Without these stops the chances for delays decrease and help reduce the common complaints associated with tours. If you want side tours during your tour, helicopter tours at the National Park, IMAX movie during your tour, making a dedicated stop for lunch during South Rim tours, the tours we offer may not be the right tours for you.

We were one of the first to offer 24 hour cancellation policy as we understand last-minute cancellations can happen. A 24 hour cancellation policy is required to also protect the tour company as last-minute cancellations leave no time to resell the seats to other people.

We do not use hidden fees to increase sales.

While there may be optional fees or special fees that apply to certain situations that are not shown in the price, hidden fees are when there is a fee that everyone has to pay that is disclosed in the fine print. We have never had hidden fees that every customer has to pay such as fuel surcharges, mandatory tips, service fees. Hidden fees are one way that sellers try to make tours appear to be similar or lower price than other tours when the reality is they cost you more. Customers whose primary language is not English are susceptible to hidden fees.

  • If you need to cancel within 24 hours you only lose the $20 per person deposit. This is a great benefit for those that have flights canceled last minute. You may be able to reschedule (depending on availability) with no need to book again.

  • Once you book your tour your price is locked in. If the tour price goes down or there is a promotion after you book (before your tour date) you can get an adjustment to the balance due without having to re-book or worry about refunds

  • You can book with $20 by card and pay the remaining balance anytime up to 24 hours before the start of the tour (you will be emailed a link for payment after the tour is confirmed)

  • You can book early without having all of your money accruing interest on credit cards or even worse lose your credit card dispute rights because you paid several months before an issue arises.

FAQ's about booking a tour

Q. When I book online when will I receive my confirmation?

A. Most tours get immediate confirmation (up to 24 hours for confirmation or full refund). It could be up to 24 hours after you make your reservation during busy periods. If we can not confirm your tour we will issue full refund.

Q. What do I need to bring on the day of the tour?

A. You just have to give the driver your name, no tickets or printouts needed. You should also monitor weather and dress accordingly (or cancel/reschedule in advance).

Q.Can I make a reservation and pay cash on the day of the tour?

A. To eliminate "no shows" we require payment of $20 per person in advance of the tour (helicopters are paid in full). The remaining balance can be paid anytime up to 24 hours before the tour through the email payment link sent after tour is confirmed. All payments are 100% refundable up to 24 hours before the start of the tour. Don't lose money book with GC Tours!

Q.Can I get a discount?

A. All discounts are on the website. The only tours that offer additional discounts for are helicopter tours when arranged through live chat. Many of the tours have options to lower the price on the options page. If you find a lower price somewhere else you can show it to us and we will try to beat it.

Q.How long is the tour and when do I get back?

A. We do not sell return times and can not guarantee any return time or tour duration for any tour. Please do not book a tour with us if you need exact times. Your tour may be 16 hours but someone at a different hotel on the same tour is 14 hours which does not mean a tour company lied to you, there are lots of factors that make the times vary for each customer. We do not intentionally advertise a bus tour as 14 hours and then later tell you hotel pick up and drop off are not included in the tour duration so there is extra time to sell you on upgrades in the morning. If you want those extra add-ons there are other tour websites that offer those activities, it is not this website. We understand you want to plan your vacation activities and our only advice is do not book a tour unless you plan to devote the entire day to it. We can not guarantee return times as delays can and do happen. If times are of utmost importance consider driving your own car or rent a car so you have 100% control over return times.
